Ingredients

  • 100 g dates stoned
  • 75 g cashew nuts
  • 2 tsp. coconut oil
  • 2 tsp. spirulina powder
  • 2 tsp. matcha powder

Method

  1. Pop the dates in water for half an hour.
  2. Pulse the cashew nuts for 1 minute in the food processor.
  3. Wipe the moisture off the dates and add them to the processor along with the coconut oil, spirulina and matcha powders.
  4. Whizz the mixture until you get a big ball.
  5. With wet hands, tear off 16 little pieces around the size of a walnut.
  6. Roll them into balls of more or less the same size with your hands.
  7. Chill the Spirulina Balls for 20 minutes and then serve!
