Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g stevia
  • 2 tbsp. agave nectar
  • 175 g rolled oats
  • 75 g raisins
  • 150 g flaked almonds
  • 75 g chopped apricots
  • 75 g sunflower seeds
  • 75 g ground flaxseed

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 3 or 160°C.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter on a low heat.
  3. Then, add the Stevia and the agave nectar, stirring throughout.
  4. Throw the rolled oats, raisins, flaked almonds, chopped apricots, sunflower seeds and flaxseed into a large mixing bowl and mix together.
  5. Next, pour on the buttery syrup, ensuring that the oat mixture is evenly coated.
  6. Place the mixture onto an 8 x 8 inch baking tray and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Once cool, cut into 16 squares.
  8. These snack bars are full of energy and make for a great treat.
