Ingredients

  • 100 gm rolled oats
  • 50 gm bran flakes, crushed
  • 25 gm ground flaxseed
  • 25 gm chia seeds
  • 25 gm desiccated coconut
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp natural honey
  • 75 gm whole almonds

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 3 or 160°.
  2. Mix the rolled oats, crushed bran flakes, flaxseed, chia seeds and desiccated coconut together.
  3. Place the coconut milk, cinnamon and honey in a small saucepan and put on a low heat for 2 minutes until mixed thoroughly.
  4. Pour the milk mixture onto the oat mixture and combine well.
  5. Line a baking tray with baking parchment and spread the granola on it evenly.
  6. Pop in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve the granola with milk or yoghurt, topped with whole almonds!
  8. Mmm, delectable!
